My experience with Bluehost has been A one, may be the reason is that I found it compatibe with my requirements.

What I was looking was for unlimited space as well as bandwidth and I found Bluehost the best in that regard!

Apart from that, excellent customer services was another thing that I loved it.

I would not say that others are too bad, and this is the Perfect one!

But definitely Yes, it really worked as a positive thing in my case.

I have used Hostgator's Baby Hosting plan for 1 month + now and so far, their service has been top class. Aside from offering you a $0.01 fee for your first month, their "live chat" support system is pretty useful. I usually get lots of help from those technicians there if I face any problems with my website's hosting. The complain I have about Hostgator is that their representatives at the "live chat" support system as mentioned earlier take quite long to reply you. I have once took 2 hours + just to get some help and in the end, didn't get the problem fixed. However, this is still a single time, thus I'm giving this hosting an A- score

I used to love the grid service hosting plan provided by Media Temple but cancelled my service last year due to numerous problems. I began to notice my sites down-time increasing to almost a daily basis. I contacted customer service and it took three days to hear back from someone. Their answer was that "they were working on the problem".

The problem persisted and actually began to get worse. I would send support tickets in and not get answers back and finally just got tired of it. I do not recommend using Media Temple to anyone.

The grid hosting is over-hyped and not worth the money. People claim it to be faster, not sure about that, but I know it seems pretty slow when your site won't load for up to twenty minutes?

I'm really satisfied with this hosting. Great servers, great customer service (live chat available 24/7). My warm recommendation. A+++

I wouldn't recommend this lousy web hosting to anyone!

My account was suspended for unexplained reasons and they were supposed to "isolate" user's website files until they make a contact, but NO - they delete your files.

Moreover, support is so rude they delete your tickets, they don't answer to your e-mails and when you manage to catch someone on the live chat the only thing you will see is:

* Chat Information: Please wait for a site operator to respond.

* Chat Information: You are now chatting with 'Mark'

* Chat Information: Chat session has been terminated by the site operator.

I recommend you rather host your own sites on the dial-up connection than to host with them - AVOID THEM LIKE A PLAGUE!

I hosted some sites with servage.net

And after a mail complaint they decided to whipe my entire account clean.

FTP was clean and the DataBases also got lost!

We apperantly violated their ToS and UAP.

Reason was: We had copyrighted material online!

Which we most definate not had!

After some communicating with them they could not say with what I violated rules.

So I apperantly I got removed for other reasons which they not tell...

To much traffic?

If it seems to be to good to be true..... It will be in the case of servage.

Servage is a damn bad service. I won't spend my time writing stories about them... Just keep in mind that 90% (or maybe 99%) of the hosts are better than Servage. That's just my sincere thought...

I used bravehost for just about a year. The server seems to be fast... problem though, is they have a lot of downtime. Almost every other day the server would go down. A lot of the times my ftp accounts would be deleted when the server came back up and I had to reset my ftp accounts. I also had two times where my database was completely erased after a downtime and I had to reinstall my database. When the server was up, it worked like a charm, a lot of cool features, but what good are these cool features if people cant get to your site. I just recently switched to hostgator, hearing that they are one of the better hosts. I'll post a review on them after a couple months of use.

They are a good host.

I have used them a few times and they always seem to be up.

They answer all my questions within a day.

The only problem I had was they removed a few files.

LunarPages is one of the big names in web hosting. Apart from their support, LunarPages is an extremely average web hosting company. We consider their package options, server speeds and prices run of the mill. LunarPages terms don't leave a lot of wiggle room either, this was demonstrated when we hosted a fairly high traffic PHP/MySQL site.
