I have nothing bad to say about DreamHost. I had an account for about 4-5 months and I've never experienced any downtimes. My company didn't have a lot fo cash to put up a website, but DreamHost got us online for barely any money. It also has some of the most helpful Technical support I've ever run into for any online service. I have nothing to complain about their hosting.

GoDaddy Review by taRik

My experiences with GoDaddy are very good. The basic webhosting is okay, and the hosting is reasonably fast and gets the job done. If you want to use a pop3 email program, this really sucks. They claim that the client side program (MS Outlook, etc.) are at fault. However, I've never had a problem with any other email hosting service. The best thing is the reliability for the price. I don't really have any complaints about GoDaddy, so I give them 5 stars out of 5.

This company's hosting was great. I applied for hosting, wait a couple of days for them to send my activation and got all the features they included on the website. They gave me everything they said they would, and some companies that I know like to put a couple of extra things they really don't offer. The only negative point is that they took a couple of days to send me the activation, but that's good because they don't allow people to abuse their free hosting.

I recently signed up with JustHost with their Web Hosting package at £2.95 a month. I was very impressed with their features, including a complimentary £30 Google AdWords voucher to get your advertising campaign on the move. Their set-up was very simple, offering support throughout the service. I was also very pleased with the free domain offered, they will link this to your hosting for free also. On a bad notice, I did find there was quite a bit of downtime, with my website not able to be accessed at least once a week for an hour or two. However, their technical support staff assured me this was a temporary mishap and the errors had been sorted.

In conclusion, I would highly recommend JustHost for UK users who want to start their own website, be it for a business or for personal use.

If you are looking for a budget hosting plan, then Webhostingpad is the best. 2$ month is really cheap and you will be able to cover that cost with only one website.

But be prepared for few hours of downtime once in a month...You will not get a reliable host at this price!!! They have the latest cPanel version and websites load comparitely faster as well....

I'm using 1&1 hosting from almost 1 year and I never found that my site is down for any reason, so 1&1 are giving me 100% up-time and their support service have always replied me quickly by e-mail when ever I made any queries. Their control panel is window based and very easy to navigate and use. Overall till this date I am very satisfied with 1&1.

I have been a client of DreamHost for over 5 years. I never been disappointed. Many people state they oversell, I do agree. However, they are highly reputable in the business, and I believe they are capable of maximizing their resources. I never experienced downtime. The speed is always top-notch. Their control panel is somewhat different, but if you use it more often, you will get used to it.

Well about dreamhost... I can say that it's quite good, when I changed my hosting from GoDaddy, so I decided to take a chance with Dreamhost, yes it's reasonable, support is good, they response really quick... well I didn't buy the dedicated server but of course shared hosting, facilities are quite impressing MySQL, perl, PHP4 & 5, database and control panel is good, I mean I like it :)

LunarPages has been around for a very long time and they are VERY RELIABLE. They offer a lot of goodies and they have a great affiliate program. If you are looking for a reliable host with a mediocre budget, I would recommend LunarPages.

BlueHost is good. The pricing is pretty cheap, especially when combined with a coupon.

The support is very good... though response times are often slow.
